'86 GXL Suspension Reccommendataions?

Right now I have a totally stock '86 GXL w/ dead rear shocks.

Off the car I have a set of:
Poly suspension bushings
TII sway bars

Since I need to replace the rear shocks anyways and I'm planning on autocrossing next season, I figure I should just buy a whole set of aftermarket shocks. I think I should probably buy adjustable shocks, as I plan to use this as my summer car as well. I don't want the ride to be so stiff my gf refuses to go anywhere with me

I also want to put in front and rear strut tower bars.

Could you guys recommend specfic brands and places to buy them?

Right now I'm looing at the front and rear strut tower bar set from corksport ($148) and either kyb of tokico shocks.

Go with Koni's. They are my favorites on the FC and FD. Good range of adjustability plus height adjustable via the spring collars. For springs, you should be good with Eibachs or H&R unless you want to go with coil overs from Ground Control. Check out the rules for the class you want to autox in b4 buying parts. Certain upgrades will make the car illegal for the class.

The Koni's listed for a 2nd generation RX-7 don't seem to have adjustable spring seats, only the 3rd gens seem to have that.

i went w/ kyb agx's and eibach pro springs... was very pleased with the driveability and performance... however, i would have rather had linear rate springs over the progressive rates... handled pretty well... solid on the track
