84gsl stuff in 80 sa

I am having probs finding information for my set up on search and i am not getting any good feedback in 1st gen forum so ill ask here...I am looking to put the complete rearend axel assembly and suspention...and the front hub spindle disk assembly from a 1984 GSL into a 1980 SA.

Can this be done?..and if so is there a good source to find fabrication info?

The rear end should go in without issue, but you might have a difference in thread pitch on the brake lines. I think Billy at Respeed has a method for dealing with this, you can ask him on his forum at www.re-speed.com You will also have to use the newer driveshaft along with the newer rear end.

For the front pieces, I'm not sure. That would be another good question for Billy.

Good luck.
