I think youre crazy.
I would rather see you with a +25 front and +35 rear.
might as well run +35 all around actually.
and I'd rather see you step over to a RPF1 because they are just that much lighter. the fno1rc gets pudgy fat heavy in the 10" width.

Help!
I checked with Rishie today and he said RPF1's aren't available for FD in the right offset.
Anyone running FN01-RC 17x9 +43 all around experiencing any rubbing issues up front on 255 40/17 tires??
I don't want to role the fenders nor do I want to worry about it if I lower the car a bit more. It's probably a half inch lower than stock right now at least.
Also open to suggestions on a trackable wheel that is relatively mid range in price and can be safely run in a 17X9 with 255 40/17 at 4 corners.
Did some more searching. I'm going to be dead tired tomorrow. Anyway, if I run 235 40/17 up front will that eliminate any worry of rubbing? And it looks like you need a minimum of 17x10 to get the concave effect right?
Thanks.

im running 235/45/17's. I had to wait for the bronze ones because they only had the silver +25 offsets in stock.lol no rubbing whatsoever in the rear. rolled front fenders w/ stance coilovers. slight toe out with supernow tie rod ends. rubs a bit during initiation of drifts using weight transfer ie: feints, it rubs but doesnt do any damage to fenders or tire.
i would def want the concave look on both front and rear. is there any way to do this w/o ruining sidewall strength?

You can run 17x9" +43 all around with 255/40/17 with NO rubbing, 100% for certain.
All of my customers report NO rubbing with 17x10" +35 all around and 255/40/17 Falken Azenis RT-615. We have sold this setup to many, many FD owners
Also, as you stated, to get the extreme concave effect you will want to have 17x10". 17x9" does have a concave face, but it is not nearly as aggressive as the 17x10".
Our shop is a vendor/sponsor here on RX7 club, and we are running a special on the FN01R-C for the rest of the month as well.

would like to see more pics.I think I,m going to spring for a set of theese.
Is that a 35 offset in the rear medium concave? do you have just a roll or have you pulled them a bit? it almost looks pulled from that pic, hard to tell.
I would not want less than a 275/40 tire without rubbing.

I run 17 x 9 +45 with 255/40/17. My tires generally don't rub with 2 exceptions:
1. At full lock, the tires rub the inner fenders slightly. No big deal.
2. When pulling in/out of a driveway, the fronts sometimes rub the front fender depending on the arrival departure angle.
I'm running Konis with H&R springs fwiw. Ride height around 25.25 - 25.5"

I want to run 18x9.5's all around, so what ive read is it doesnt really matter what offset it is itll have the concave look. But does the lower offset have a bigger concave look to it? And what size tires would be the best bet i want something nice n wide in the back, 265s? Just want to hear your opinions.
-Thanks
