no. i drift with 225/45/17 in the fronts and 235/45 in the rear

 

So 245/40/17's will be fine on a 17x10?

I would recommend following the recommendations for each tire, as well as the excel spreadsheet made up by JimLab in the Suspension and Wheel section.

 

17x10 +25 all around. front: 225/45/17 rear: 235/45/17

245 40 F

235 45 r......I'm looking to add a 265 rear after the first few events. The 235 45 is too tall for the front so i had to put it out back for now, but it actually looks pretty good.

 

wow nicee!!^^ what size are those? did you have to roll your fenders or anything?

 

rear got a little roll with the bat and heat gun and the fronts are untouched, but I did have to raise it up about and inch. I have not worked on the front fenders, but that is the size i want to run. The 245 40 will fir just fine depending on your ride height. I have stance coilovers and the drop on these coils is rediculous.

I have not driven the car hard at all, so ride height and any final adjustments to the fenders have not been performed. I want to have this 7 on the groound when everything is set and done.

 

my rears pretty much look the same as ballinMiami's since hes running the same size

 

ballin....have u driven the car? how do u define fit? judging from pics it looks like that front fitment isnt gonna work without a roll. getting in the car and turning lock to lock isnt a sufficient test

 

looks drivable. and i drove mine, lower than that, and it was fine. so i believe him. but i would roll the fronts. you can get away without a rolled rear if its not too low, but wheres the fun in that?
but stay away from the 45s, even on the rear. unless its a 225 where you dont really have a choice.

Yeah, they are changing the design slightly. The only difference I can see is FN01RC engraved in the spoke.

17X9 +43 and 17X10 +40(+35 machined down 5mm)

What offset is best for this...either +12 or +35

What would be my best tire size that will fit with no problems? my front and rear fenders are already rolled, and I have coilover suspension.

 

+35 would def fit better especially up front. You could prob get away with +12 if you stretched your tires though. If you run the correct 265 on the +35 you would need a little more then a 1/4" roll in the front, and would barely need on in the back. If you run the +12 with a 265 you would need about 1 3/4" in the front and 3/4" in the back which is just not doable, so you would have to run a stretched tire.

 

How many of you guys autocross or track your cars with those offsets?

I'm running 17x9 +45 with 255/40/17 tires, Konis with H&R springs at 25.25 - 25.5" ride height and sometimes rub when autocrossing.

Im thinking about doing 17x10 +35 with 255/40 tires on all four corners and yes my FD is silver too.

 

barf barf, please dont hack up my car with those ugly black wheels! thats an old pic though. it looks more like this now. just a few little improvements, but the main one is i leveled off the ride height.

 

Im pretty much set on these wheels as they are affordable, i want to run 18x9.5 all the way around, can i fit a 245 or 255 in the front and 275s in the rear?

its going to depend on the offset you get and if you dont mind a little rolling
