yes I have. it will fit fine. that, belive it or not is ACUTAL fitment meant for that size wheel. too many people stretch 225's onto a 9 or 9.5'' rim, so everyone thinks that's what you're supposed to do. I have also run a 315 on a 10''.

285's
Well on alot of manufacturer sites the 285's had a range of 9.5 to 10.5 inch wheels, that seems like a big difference, anyone care to shed some light on this topic?

1 inch is not really a lot of range at all. On my old Skyline I ran a 255/40 on my 9'' wheels for the street, and a 285/35 on my 9.5'' track wheels. It basically comes down to sidewall height and flex. The reason drifters stretch thier tires is to create an overly stiff sidewall. This creates a VERY early traction breaking point. Ideally you want a bit of flex, but not too much. My Toyo R888's had very stiff sidewalls, so I chose to run them at a slight taller 40 series to still have a bit of feel in them.
Once you start putting a 285, 295 or even a 315 on a 9.5-10'' wheel is basically comes down to sidewall buldge and "looks." Some people don't like the look of a buldged (sp?) tire, but you're putting more rubber to the road with having a smaller/lighter wheel.
I think that kind of made sense. If something dosent sound right, tell me and I will try to explain it better.

I'm probably going to be running Advan A048's , not the Nitto 555' s i used to run. As far as the 285's go i just want to be confident in the 285's on the 9.5 inch wheel, does anyone run it and have some pictures they want to share.

yeah +50mm all around. The rears have tons of clearance from the fenders - no rolling there needed at all.
The fronts might need rolling depending on how soft your springs are (mine are 900 lbers) and your ride height (mine is 25.25) and your camber (mine is -2.1).

I ran a 285/30R18 advan neova on an 18x10 last year and there is no reason it cant be run on a 9.5 wheel, thats a sure bet.
one of the benefits of the 285/30 size is an extremely small overall height / diameter so the car can sit much lower to the ground and still have good clearance inside the fender wells.
