It would also help to list what car you are driving as it's not shown in your profile.

Good tires from Toyo (T1-S, RA-1), Falken (Azenis Sport), and Nitto (555 RII) are available from other online sources if you are interested in those.

If you are looking for tires for an RX-7, that seems like a very odd size. Not knowing where to find tires suggests that you are new at this so you might want to consult the forum members on the size, too.

A 255/50/16 will fit on a 16x8J wheel pretty easy. I have 4 bfg drag radials in that size mounted on 16x8's in my garage. They have a pretty good amount of side wall flex. I got them from http://www.tirerack.com/

They are going on the rear of an FC. mounting them on 16x9's and i am just looking for some good performance tires for on road driving. Once i get used to the car, i will buy some real nice performance tires

Then the proper size would be 245/45 16.

Yeah thanks, i was just going over my math myself and found that a 255/50 would be way too tall. It is easy to forget that the aspect ratio is taken from the width of the tire and not just a set standard sidewall height

Thanks for the pointers, I have been looking at the Falkens as well as the yokohoma es 100's. The yokohama tires I hear last a little longer
