245/45s

Yesterday I bought a set of 17x7 rims with a 40mm offset. The tires the guy at the shop sold me are 245/45/17s. I have an FC and wonder if there will be any rubbing up front. I think rear will be fine. Any advice?

Yeah, you should rub. I don't suggest running such a wide tire on such a thin wheel. You should have run a 225/45/17 front and rear, fully rotatable. The 245 won't have as much contact patch due to the "ballooning" effect of the sidewall.

I have three FC's and have encountered problems running anything over a 235/40 and your tire is quite a bit taller than that.

Good luck, RIshie
