245/45 on FD wheels.....fit FC?

Does anyone know if the 245/45 tires on FD wheels will fit on an FC. I am asking for a friend who just bought some. I have looked at all the calculators and see the tires fit ok on the wheel. But do not know if there is any clearance/ rubbing issues on an FC. Even if they dont fit all 4 corners, perhaps maybe the rear only and run stock 225/50 up front?

Any help appreciated.

i believe FC offset is low and most FDs are +40, +45 on the wheels. if you are just swapping tires, then it doesnt matter, it depends on your wheel offset. u have stock wheels?

They'll fit in the rear. In the front he'll need to run spacers and smaller diameter front coil springs.

You should run a 25mm bolt on spacer to fit FD wheels on an FC. Those tires still might be too wide for the front, either rubbing the fender or the suspension. You'll just have to test fit it and see.

I have seen this myself, I know someone running them with 225's up front with a 5mm spacer. The rears he's running a 245 tire no spacer, and no problems. I forgot how low the car was, but it was pretty dropped.

You might wanna run extended lugs in the front.
