225/40/16 ?

I can get a set of Toyo Proxes in 225/40/16 for a very good price and am wondering how would this affect performance of the car.

Any experience with them on the track ?

Would handling be worse with such lower profile ?

That I'm aware of, but would it have any other ill effects ? I know the speedo would be off a bit though.

The major problem with running that tire would be that the car would sit almost an entire inch lower. And, IMO, would look pretty dumb.

Yea... it would look a bit out of place without any lowering springs
