225/40/16 ?
 

I can get a set of Toyo Proxes in 225/40/16 for a very good price and am wondering how would this affect performance of the car.

Any experience with them on the track ?

Would handling be worse with such lower profile ?

lower top end.

That I'm aware of, but would it have any other ill effects ? I know the speedo would be off a bit though.

The major problem with running that tire would be that the car would sit almost an entire inch lower. And, IMO, would look pretty dumb. :)

Yea... it would look a bit out of place without any lowering springs :p:

just put your spare on, and see how it looks...
