2 piece wheel sealing ?

Anyone know what is used to seal a 2 piece wheel? I have some 18 Stern wheels that sealed fine until today...1 day after getting new tires put on them.

Is it a o'ring?. Or just a tolerance seal with the 2 flanges mateing?

Thanks for any help.

silicone... use clear silicone... pull the tire off , clean the old silicone off and apply a fresh bead with your finger. let dry and remount tire... you shouldn't have to seperate the halves

So seal from the inside of the rim? Would a bead around the outside where i see the air bubbles be as effective or no. I can break the bead down at work so not a big deal.

Thanks for the advice.

"2-piece" implies it's a rim outer with a center wheel face.
Are you talking about a 3-piece rim with two halfs of the rim outer?
