Are 19's too big for an FD?

I always thought they'd be too big and thought 18" were pushing it for myself but I saw some 19" the otehr day at a shop and they looked sweet.

He changed the overall height which is a no-no to me but the actual LOOK of the 19" was pretty nice. I think 17-18" strikes a nice compromise between looks and performance, 17" is considered the overall "best" but I like 18"s for me.

19's look absoutely fine on an FD. I have 18's on my FC, and although my low end was slightly diminshed, it's barely noticeable. I run 225/35/18 Pirelli's.
My advice is to spend a bit more on the tires, as well as the wheels.. Don't just get the bargain Nankang 40's. Spend the extra $$ and get Pirelli's or something similar. You will feel the difference.
I wish I would've gotten 30's up front to give the car more of that "rake" look. Mine sits a little high right now, but the springs are on the way. I like the tire to be tucking ever so slightly..

SpeedKing, your FD sits perfectly IMHO...
