19 inch wheel fitment mod
well so far everything is fine. rims clear calipers fenders rolld so it does not rub stiffer suspension so it doesnt dip and rub now one last thing left. Wheel well rub when i turn. What would be a good solution to this problem. I mean taking out the guard in there would prolly do it but is there other ways to go about this?? would spacing out the tires help?? rim it self has a offset of +20. 225 40 19 is what i have on the front. Maybe some smaller tires? Any help is appreciated

Not sure what you're hoping to accomplish..... 19s are too big for a car the size of the FD IMO, and you're running the same width tire as stock. I take it you're not making much power so don't have to worry about traction?
Also, telling us the offset does us no good without the wheel width. But in general +20 is not good for an FD, unless you have a 6 or 7 inch wide wheel.

the 40 sidewall is WAY too big. Going from a 40 to 35 sidewall will reduce the tire diameter by .8" and 1.7" if you go to a 30 sidewall. I am assuming your running stock fenders? If so the +20 offset is pretty aggressive, you are going to need to run some negative camber to get them to sit flush.
19's fit just fine, they look big in pictures but are just fine in reality. However I would stray away from them for track use. I have owned 17", 18" and 19" wheels all on my fd.

I'd never go bigger than the 18's on my FD.
Go with 19's, and you're almost guaranteed to increase the circumference of the tires, which has the same effect as raising all your gear ratios. Plus you're going to have be extra careful over bumps, so you don't bend your rims. Plus the ride will be very harsh. Plus you'll have less control of the car over even small road imperfections if you ever try driving the fast.
If these are all pluses to you, go for it.

^ Uhh ohh!! LOL! It's funny how people start dissing 19's. The Rx8 R3 runs 19's and has zero of those handling problems mentioned above. It's also one of the best handling cars on the planet with a race car style suspension. I know it's NA with no torque but still. It's all about the tires IMHO.
