Thumbs up 18x9.0 +45, 18x10.0 +20 Volk TE37 SLs

Will those sizes work on my FD with rolled fenders all around? What tire sizes should I go with? I did a search and not much came up with the TE37SLs, thanks

Theyll work, but may look a little off from one another considering fender "flushness". The front is a safe and conservative fitment, the rear will require a heavy fender roll at least.

Alot of guys run 9.5 +22 up front.

Here's a example

Volk TE37SL 18x9.5 +22, 18x10.5 +22, 5x114.3 by Chris T. › WheelFlip.com

onemoreclick runs that exact setup as well.

I would run 18x10 +40 front and rear. Run 255/35/18 tires front and rear.

Now there are some wider tires in 255/35/18 tires....they are not all created equal. Some tires have super wide tread widths.

for example.

AD08 in a 255/35/18 tire has a tread width of 9.9 inches. This would fit perfect on your 10" wide wheel. height is 25" almost stock....and the front will look killer in terms of flushness.

The rear will be fine with a +40 offset and 255/35/18 tires. If you want a more flush look with rolled fenders, I recommend getting a small spacer if you want. This way you can still rotate tires.

This set up provides the best of all worlds....the best handling with a slightly stretched tire, great looks, and the ability to rotate your tires for longest tread life.

AD08 in 255/35/18 is 9.9 inches wide for tread width. Rolling fenders will be required with this set up for the front definitely and possibly for the rear.
RE-11 in 265/35/18 is 9.6 inches wide for tread width.
R-s3 in 255/35/18 is 9.6 inches wide, its 265/35/18 width is only 9.5 inches wide? weird ain't it.

Anyway conclusion. 255/35/18 all around on 18x10 +40 wheels.

It doesn't work for performance. He has to stretch enimic tires on those rims to make it work. I am not a fan of hellaflush.

Without atleast a 10-15mm spacer in the front I think they will look too mis matched. The rears will fit nice and flush with 265's but the fronts wont look good, also if the SL's are anything like other TE's +45 offset is probably going to have a flat face profile and look like ****.

Are you sure on that 18x10 +40?

Only 18x10 +40 I can find on the Rays Japanese site is 5x130mm TE37SLP for Porsche.

Yes, they offer it in that size.

The TE37SL black edition.

RAYS CO., LTD.

I think you can find it for the pressed graphite color as well.

Gene, if you want to stick with a staggered sizing, I found that the following worked well on my FD:

18x9.5 +38 front with 255/35
18x10 +32 rear with 265/35

This is moderately rolled fenders.

It could have been pushed another 5-6mm in the rear safely, probably with the fronts as well but that's always a bit dicey if going over bumps or up a driveway with the front wheel cocked to one side.

Some pics of the fitment I'm speaking of can be seen here:

Thank you for that link!

I found Rays Engineering USA site that had 2009 catalog only and Rays Engineering Japan site that wasn't current either- but hadn't found that one.

I second the idea of 18x10 +40 front and rear with 255/35-18.

The Volk C345 Ultralight is also available in 18x10 +40.

The Volk CE28N 10 Spoke and CE28N Competition (not for road vehicles) are available in 17x10 +45- didn't know that.

I was looking for some 17x10 +45MM CE28N's but they are expensive. All Volk product new is.

I would get the 18x10 +40MM all around with some good 255/35/18 tires.

Why go with that fitment in back and have it sunken in? Staggered offsets is the way to go......more lip, and rotating tires is overrated

Gene, why are you moving away from 17s? If anything, spec out the same fitment with 18s....same offsets, same tire sizes etc.

Work= I am a bad *** that wants to look good being a bad ***

Volk= I am a bad *** that wants to go fast while being a bad ***.

Two different applications. The Volks lack the style and weight of the Works.

18x9.5+35 and 18x10+20 would work pretty well with 255/265's. The rears may be a little close but a slight amount of camber should make for an easy fit.

I've seen a FD with 18x10 +20 offset te37sl's all around on a stock body and to me it looked to sit very wide. Looked super JDM if thats what you want. A little too wide for my taste on a stock body. The concavity of the wheel is pretty crazy looking though, would be great for a widebody. Isn't the point of getting the SL's because they're lighter? If it were me I'd go with 17's to shave more weight but from the chart i'd say 18x8.5 +35 and 18x9.5 +35/+22 staggered. for a square set up 18x9.5 +35/+22.

Yes, I think I am going to go with these sizes and offsets as they are close to my offsets for my 17s. I could go with +22 in the front, but that might be cutting it close.
