18x11 +42 with a 275/35/18
Ive done my search and came up with mixed answers. I found this thread https://www.rx7club.com/suspension-w...-965632/page2/
some says you cant and some says you can with the proper offset
So will 18x11 with offset of +42 running tire size 275/35/18 fit without any modifications? Im running JIC magic coils.
I want to purchase some wheels but want to make sure it will fit before i pull the trigger

The 275/35-18 are tall tires.
Every manufacturer and tire is a little different, but most 275/35-18 will be tall enough that they rub on the front and rear of the inner fender when turning the front wheels.
If tire height is not an issue, to fit the wheels/tires in addition to the coilovers you already have you will need to max the front negative camber (around -2.4) and roll the front fender lips under and possibly the rear fender lips under depending on rear negative camber.
You *may* rub the front swaybar at full lock as well. Mine was aftermarket speedway style and had to be shortened to get full steering lock.
The wheel size is good.
Do you mind telling us the manufacturer of the wheels or posting a picture?
I had to custom order my 18x11 +45 as I couldn't find an off the shelf 11 wide with the right offset.

I run a 18x10 +42 with 275/35/18. The issue won't be height in the rear, but it may push the tire out a bit to where it contacts the fender lip. A fender roll may or may not fix it. I know I tried my rear with a 5mm spacer, and it left rubber residue on the lip. It was that close.

Good point.
It could also be a discontinued size as I notice the hub mounting portion looks like my old 1997 TE37 with the cut outs between lug studs, whereas my 2001 TE37 have a continuous outer surface.
The backspace does appear to be about what it should be for +42 in the pic.

I have an 18x11 +25 on back of my car with a 275/35/18 tire but it looks to be a bit more of a stretch then that pic. I can't tell for sure from the angle.
I think those would fit with aftermarket trailing arms and coilovers. Worst case you could get a spacer and move it further toward the fender if need be.
I also fit an 18x10 +50 on the back of mine with same size tire. As long as you have some trailing arms and coilovers you can fit a wide range of wheel and tire in the back.
The more aggressive wheels need a fender roll like mine at +25
I would love to see those wheels mounted on an FD and see how it sits.
Btw here is pic of mine.
Its aggressive for my taste but I didn't purchase them, they came with the car.
