18X10 +38 fitment

Hello, will 18X10 +38 fit for a FD 285 is my tire choice.Tein coilovers, full track car.
I am looking at Enkei or anything more affordable than CCW's. I may just have to bite the bullit and get CCW's.
Thanks.

The rears will fit fine with just a fender roll. For the fronts that offset is a bit low, probably going to rub alot for a track car with those kinds of loads.

You should check out 949 racings new 6ULRs that they are making for the S2000. They are running a set of 17x10 +52 that fit S2000 big brake kits. These will fit an FD front perfect. This is the EXACT offset that CCWs are.

...And they are 280 or so per wheel

...And they weigh 19lbs.

What brand of tire are you looking to run? If you can find a 25 in overall diameter 17 in wide tire I would not hesitate to run the 6ULRs.

I love 949s approach of custom tailoring their wheels to specific cars. Luck for us FD guys S2000 happen to have the same front fitment.

Why would you want a lower offset? Are you one of those hella-flush-rip-your-fenders-off-of-your-car people? 17x10 +52 is perfect for the front of an FD so long as you run a 25 in diameter tire.

NM...you have a widebody FC...

Thanks.

Most people that run an 18x10 w/ 285s run around a +50 offset. Its a tight fit. I would recommend searching for past threads on this if you want further confirmation.

AutoRND has the Enkeis in correct sizes at great prices and is very knowledgeable about what actually fits and works. Great service too.

CCWs are great but pricey. Can't go wrong with them though.
