Question 18'' on JC Cosmo (20B) - What offset ?

Hi.

I am looking for rims for my JC Cosmo, and have a question.

What will be the best looking offset if I get a 18-7,5'' wheel? I want the wheels to clear factory panels without mods, but not "sit under the car" either.

What are the other specs for the wheels? 114,3 mm-5 stud, but how big is the center hole?

Btw, why I don't go wider, is the wheel design I want do not sell 18'' any wider, and I don't want to go 19'' or 20''.

Thank you for your input.

It would help if you provided the stock wheel size and offset, as well as stock tire size. Not too many of us are familiar with the Cosmo....

Hi.

I know, but I tried a "quickie". I do not know either, and would have to measure. I guess David (DMRH) would know, and I'll send him a PM.

I'll post any results here, so the next guy doesn't have to start a new tread.

Thank you.

=)

Usually, the size and offset will actually be stamped or cast on/into the rim. Look carefully at the rim face -- FD wheels clearly have 16x8 +50 offset cast into them on the face of the wheel.
