18 inch wheels on 3rd gen (FD3S)?
Yeah with +70 offset and rubber bands... rim width isn't everything. Not much is gained by saying you have 18x11s in the rear.

I worked in Grand Am for a few years, as well as the Speed world challenge back in the day. Most of the wheels used were SERIES SPONSORS, and either gave the wheels to certain teams as part of the sponsorship package, or paid the series the be one of the "approved wheels".
Hell, BBS once tried to have all other makes of wheels banned from any FIA event.
Rule of thumb- thin spoke, light wheel- gonna break when you clobber your dumb *** into something.
