18" HP Design EVO

Anyone have any experience with the HP Design EVO rims that are commonly listed on eBay?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...3AAAQ%3AUS%3A1

The ones I have been eyeing are staggared fitment (18x 8 front and 18x9 rear). I think that they have a 38 mm offset.

Anyone have any luck with these or is the 38mm offset going to be a problem? Any way of using a spacer to adjust?

Thanks,

The NSX guys are using these all over the place (yes I browse the NSX forums):

The +38 will be close, but you can probably make it work depending on what tire sizes you are planning to pick.

Thanks! They look awsome on the NSXs. Anyone out there have any experience with them on their FD?

You'd be better off getting the rims from Mike's group buy. They look almost identical except they are 8.5 wide front and 10 wide rear, and are the perfect offset for the FD. He has FC offsets as well and the price is about the same.

OK so like I said, I ended up buying the Evos. 18/8 and 18/9. They arrive on Friday. I have a hook up for Falken tires and I am trying to decide on what size to get. My car has Eibock springs so I am concerned about rubbing in the front so I am thinking of getting Falken FK 451s 225/35 up front and 265/35 in the rear.
What do people think? Are 225/35s too small?
I have seen the rims mounted with 235/40 on a car with stock suspension. The owner of that car says that the tires are real close up front. The tires on that car also look too tall (meaty) for my tastes.
I don't think I will have a problem in the back with 265/35.
What do you guys think? Suggestions?

Your rims look nice. I already bought a set of rims though. Now I am trying to decide what size tires to get for them(if you read my last post).
