17x9.5 +30 fit in rear of fd?

trying to find some cheap drag wheels. for a nice set of wheels that are 17x9.5 +30...again they are for the rear not the fronts. my car has koni yellow shocks and eibach lowering springs.

i plan on running either a 275 or 285 tire if it matters

if +30 wont work. what range of offsets would. my fenders are not rolled but i have no problem rolling them.

thanks!

I know 17x10 +43 will fit 275s with zero problems, stock fender.

You're outboard approx 6-7 mm more, so I'd say it'll definitely work with a fender roll in the rear.

I run a 17x9.5 +38 with a 275/40 and it fits fine.

Oddly enough, my rear passenger rubs slightly on WOT and the passenger side sits 1 inch higher than the driver side lol

Suspension is all whacked out thats for sure.

No fenders rolled, car is lowered on springs which are unkown. Thats why i have to get coilovers soon because the ride height and ride comfort is horrible lol

Driver is 25.75 and passenger side is 26.75"

lol

You should be able to get away with that with rolled fenders. Just.

Don't anything bigger than a 275/40 on that, the 285 will be too tall.

Having a stiff set of coilovers will help to prevent contact in the rear.

My current track setup is close.... it barely avoids being in line with the fender lip.

I have 89mm frontspacing (18x10 +38) with a 265/35. You're looking at 91mm frontspacing, so marginally more, and with a 10mm wider tire (if 275), so 5mm more rubber on the outboard side.

I'd say to be safe roll the fender, but that's close enough that all the other variables come into play and you may or may not have a problem. It'll suck to find out the hard way though.

Btw, agree with Peter on tire sizing. I'd actually recommend a 265/40..... in the right sticky compound, you'll have more grip than say a 285/35 due to the taller sidewall.

I just checked and the Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star Spec comes in 265/40 for a 17.....that right there is what I'd do.
