17x9+35/F & 17x10+38/R what size fender flares and how wide tire?

Well my Volks say 8" & 9" width but I measured from bead to bead and it's 9" & 10". It's possible inside the beads they are 8.5" & 9.5" since Volk usually does .5" sizes but I didn't measure with the tires off. I currently have 225's and 255's. The right/front clipped the lip and so the fronts need to be rolled but i'm not shure if 235 or 245 will clear. so I was thinking of Feed or maybe even DMax fenders depending on how wide I can go with the tires and offset. So most likely I will replace the front fenders but i'm not shure if I will get rear fender flares and if I do how wide I need (20mm, 25mm, 50mm). The offsets are really messing me up with choosing. Can someone help? ...Rishie?

I can't help you. From what i understand a 8" wide rim, when measured, is a 9" wide rim

trust what the wheel says. volk is not going to mess that up.

but yeah, from outside to outside, wheels are usually about and inch wider than the 'wheel width'.

I didn't measure the tires. I measured the wheel or rather the rim. It is possible they messed up an put the wrong stickers. The rim itself mesures 9" and 10" wide. The stickers say 8" and 9" wide. Current tires are too skiny and do not protect the rim. Rim is wider then the tires. ANyhow, I can't find **** in 17's. I was just going to do 236 & 265 Toyo T1S but they don't make those anymore. 275's are alot taller then I want and with my offset I don't think I can fit with just rolled fenders.

No, wheels are ~1" wider than their nominal widths. Those are 8 and 9 inch wide wheels. In which case, they should fit fine other than requiring a roll up front. You could run 225/45, 235/45, or 245/40 up front, and 255/40, 265/40, or 275/40 at the rear. No flares required.

did you measure rim to rim or bead to bead? its not exactly the same thing and could account for the difference...

^ oh ok, yeah outside bead to outside bead exactly how you did it above.

I think the pulled fender is from the previous setup because it happened once on the old setup on the passenger side and I think it wasn't pushed back in enough and it grabbed again on the current setup. Since it's still only the passenger side, I would assume it would have worked without rolling unless lowered more then it is now.

I was going to use Yoko A032 or Toyo T1S but I can no longer get those in 235's and 265's.
Looks like I may go with Nitto NT01 245 & 275's and fender rolling. This way I can put off the flares and the Work S1's.

Thank you for the replys!

The Toyo T1-S has been replaced with the T1-R, which is available in the sizes you want.
