17x9/17x10.5 mustang wheels on FC

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/17-9-...QQcmdZViewItem
How close will these be to clearing the suspension on an FC in the front and rear? I am assuming that I will need 20-30mm wider fenders to hold them. I was thinking I could go 245s in front and 295 or 285s in the rear. Im just unsure if I will need spacers or not.

any of the sn95 stang wheels will clear they suspension with no spacers or anything. Fitting those tires is a different story.

In those offsets you will rub for sure.

Put it this way. The 9" wheel in a +24 will not clear coilovers. I've had to run +15 offsets to clear 98% of the coilovers out there. The rear is not a problem of backspacing but will be a problem for front spacing. Meaning you will hit the fender.

i've run 10" +30 and barely cleared the trailing arm in the rear, backspacing issue, and on fender side needed to roll a bit to get the 285.30 on there we were hoping for.

Now 295/40/17 is a real tall tire. I would suggest sticking with something like a 255/40 if you're gonna try to get that thing under the rear fender. I still think you'll have problems depending on the camber in the rear.

These are not OEM wheels, which the Mustangs weren't this exact fitment I don't believe. the front needs spacer, the rear needs to be higher offset. For the front with the spacer you'll need about 15mm of more fender clearance. In the rear to fit what you want I'd suggest about the same in terms of pull and roll.

In any case, hope that helps out a bit.

Awesome, I already use a 10mm spacer in the front, so with some fenders I should be able to fit what I was hoping for.
