Can I run 17x8.5+35 all around on my fd?

 

It's tight in the front, but it'll fit. Fitting properly is another question though.

according to jimlabs excel fitment sheet in the sticky at the top of the forum for 17x8.5 a 38mm offset is about all you can get away with.

 

Some people run 18x8.5 +35 in the front.

however, did they roll there fenders, run lots of negative camber, or running smaller tires?

I just don't understand why everyone is trying to push the fitment and risk body damage when you can get proper offsets that still look good with a deep dish look AND allow you to turn the wheel and not hit or rub anything.......

You'll end up running such a skinny tire that it won't make the wheels worth it. Get something around a +43 or +45. Then you'll be able to stick some rubber on them to make it worth it.

Or folks run coilovers and adjust their ride height to avoid hitting anything.

+37 is the lowest offset I'd recommend for an 8.5" wide wheel up front.
