17x8 & 17x10 offset?

I was looking at these wheels listed in the classified section, and was wondering if they will fit an fd, currently with stock suspension? Will they fit with suspension changes, i.e. lowering, coil-overs?

front: 17 x 8 +28 offset
rear: 17 x 10 +40 offset

From my research, I'm guessing that the rear is okay, but the offset seems a bit low for the fronts. The wheels look great, but I won't get them if they won't fit.

At the lowest with stock fenders I would suggest

+35 front and +45 rear. This is just my opinion. but it's a damn safe one. hehe.

I know that you can go as low as +42 in the rear w/ a 10" wheel, without fender rolling. +40 on a 10" wheel... well, you'd just have to try it, it might come down to the size/brand/model tire you mount.

For a 9" wheel, I wouldn't go any lower than +40 for the front... and even then you'd want to roll the fenders. Once again, tire choice will effect results.

No.

In a 10" wide rear, I'd go +43 minimally. I had 17x10 +43 Fikses w/ 275/40-17 and had no problems.

SpeedKing what do you run up from. 17x9? if so, what offset.

I am thinking about getting a set with front 17x9 with 42 offset and the rear 17x10 also with 42 offset.

17x9 +42 offset will work up front but if you are lowered, I would definitely roll the fenders.

Yeah it is lowered about and inch up front, I could roll it. I hope that with the 42 offset it will not messed up anything. Like suspension, steering, or so forth.
