17x7 40mm offset.

I read the thread but i couldn't find the answer that i am craving for. I'm getting a 17x7 with 40mm offset. I'm trying to run 215/45/17 up front and 225/45/17 in back. i have tanabe springs with tokico strut. i havent fix the camber in the back but i will do it soon. would it work without rubbing on the springs. or would the negative camber in the back make the back tires rub. How much is the speedometer going to be off. I look it up in a site and they say that it'll only throw it off a little bit. Could it be possible to run 225/50/17 or 215/50/17 on the back with out rubbing, thanks

There will be no problem fitting that.

They will not fit up front due to the POS Tanabe springs.

so the front would not fit 215/45/17. the rear would fit 225/50/17. correct. If 215/45/17would not fit front with the tanabe springs then it should fit 205/45/17or 205/40/17.

Rears not a problem.

You're not supposed to be adjusting tire size for clearances.
The proper size is supposed to be a 225 / 45 / 17.
You can run them up front, but you'd need a spacer to clear the (bigger) Tanabe springs.

You'd figure aftermarket springs would be made so they dont hinder tire clearance.

Yeah, too bad both the Tanabe (GF210's?) and the Tein's *DON'T*.

Do a search in this section to see pics...
