what is this apexi s-afc?
hi guys, i am in a postition to buy this piggy back fuel computer. it is not the new version 2 s-afc, but the original.
i want my stock injectors on my 93 to run a little higher duty when racing.
can somebody with experience with this computer help/advise me on its usefulness?
it needs to be fairly easy to tune, and effective on my r1.

There are a lot of versions out.
The original is the AFC I and AFC II.  These were model specific and are pretty rare nowdays.
A'PEXi broke through with the original Super AFC a few years back.  This allowed multiple vehicle models to be tuned with one model, via pot and DIP switch settings in the rear.
The S-AFC came out with the first flourescent display in the inudstry.  Programming took a little more time, but it had more features.
The S-AFC II is the latest model.
All these things do is interrupt the primary load sensor (in your case the MAP sensor) signal and spit out a modified signal depending on your settings via the unit.
