it will work.. you can tune it down becuz NAs running pretty rich. it'll probably save you some gas mileage but thats about it.

Actually, leaning it out will increase temperatures, power, and complete burnage. There are figures of 10-15hp crank increase.

You not only save gas and money, but you also get that extra tuned performance. Supposedly you can let off the cruising maps as much as 20% and have the high rpm stuff close to 10% off and keep good response etc.

Well as far as the Super Afc2 goes I was told that they work better or that they were really make for turbo charged engines. I am not saying it wont work for an N/A but I have not seen anyone running a super afc on a N/A usually they use a wideband or an engine management. Let me know how it works out

I noticed my gas milage went up a few miles to the gallon when I used it. My idle smoothed right out to. I think I did either -5 or -15 for LOW 700-1000 rpm.

A wideband o2 by itself won't do anything for you but show you how far off (rich or lean) your car is. All a wideband o2 does is amplify the range and precision of a stock o2 cell. Essentially, a normal o2 cell gives readings from 0 to 1 volt, which tells how rich or lean your car is, and a wideband reads the SAME thing, but from 0 to 5 volts, which gives a lot more precision. Just adding a wideband o2 won't improve your gas mileage or power. But if you plan to get a SAFC, you'll want to buy or borrow a wideband o2 sensor to set it up with, or take it to a shop, because that's what they'll do.

As far as not ever seeing one on an NA, I've got one on my NA, and a friend of mine who's Honda Civic came in 9th at the Solo Nationals last year in STS runs a SAFC on his as well, and his isn't turbocharged. Any car can benefit from a little fine tuning of the air/fuel ratio throughout the powerband, even newer cars but ESPECIALLY older cars. I've even considered getting one for my 2003 Neon, because I feel like it runs rich sometimes. Would a full engine management system be better? Oh yeah, but $200 fits some people's budget better than $1000.
