Super AFC SAFC on an FD?
SAFC on an FD?
Has anyone installed an AFCII on their FD. Im not looking for huge performance gains, just a little more fuel to support 12psi. Also, if it doesnt adjust for boost how would it keep from running way rich when your not running high boost?
Sorry if these questions seem stupid, I just want a little more fuel with out having to buy a PFC.
any imput would be appreciated.

Bee,
I'm not sure what mods you have on your car, but if you're running the standard ECU, then by increasing fuel with the S-AFC you might hit Fuel Cut.
My advice for increasing fuel to support your 12psi would be to have a mix of the following:
1) higher flowing fuel pump
2) direct wiring of your fuel pump
3) fuel pressure regulator (to increase fuel pressure)
4) higher flowing fuel filter
Once your fuel supply is sufficent, you may then use the S-AFC to adjust the fuel leveling (with negative values so you don't hit fuel cut).
The FPR and direct wiring should be sufficient to satisfy 12psi (assuming you're running the stock twins and not a single).
And the answer to your question regarding the S-AFC adjusting for boost .... it does adjust for boost in a way. The S-AFC looks at throttle% which is basically the load on the car. The higher the throttle%, the more load, hence it's important to set the LO point and HIGH point correctly in the setup.
