S4 and S-AFC2 throttle problem

Well, I hooked my S-AFC2 up to my boost sensor, which I guess according to the FSM is the brown and red wire. Anyways, with it hooked up like this, I get full throttle at about 50% or so.... sometimes less. I know it is manifold pressure, but is there anyway i can get a more accurate reading?

Actually... that's accurate. Really, it is.

At lower RPMs, it doesn't take full throttle to allow full manifold pressure. The boost sensor is reporting correctly - at 1500 RPM, it takes maybe 20% throttle for the engine to see full manifold pressure. Any throttle above this point isn't doing anything - the engine is already working as hard as it can, and arguably you lose a bit of power by opening the throttle wider because you open the secondary throttle butterflies up, and lose primary port velocity.

I would also set your throttle LOW at 95-98 and your HIGH at 99. IF you want accurate readings then throw on a S5 TB and TPS and hook the narrow range to the ECU and the full range to the TPS.

My experimenting with using the boost signal to the THR wire on the S-AFC shows 0 PSI gives ~40% and 12 PSI gives ~90%.

I set the low & high throttle settings to those values.

I too am debating on whether to wire it to TPS or MAP...

is there anyway to use the AFC's Pressure sensor display inorder to get the AFC 2 to display boost? i.e. get the AFC to convert the voltage of the 1 bar map sensor to boost

The blue wire tapped the the pressure sensor give the PRS display.
