S-AFC tuning question?
First of, i'm a lil new to this, so correct me if anything i say is wrong.
I'm thinking of getting the S-AFC to tune my N/A... now i have read that people have had the best results tuning the N/A to near or slightly above 13.5:1 air/fuel ratio.
Now, (and correct me if im wrong), doesn't the S-AFC tell you the amount of air that is being sucked into the engine, along with the amount of time that the injectors are on...
couldnt these numbers be then turned into their corresponding air and fuel weights, be compaired then to 13.5:1 and the amount of fuel then adjusted accordingly.
I know that this is not the most optimal way to do things (obviously the best thing to use is a dyno and wideband) but would an aproach like this work.
It seems to make sense to me, if we can monitor the amounts going in, then without even looking at the output we should be able to optimize this to 13.5:1
What does everyone think of an aproach like this?
