Question about installing the SAFCII

hey guys, i got some questions about installing the safcII. first let me tell you that i did searched, i found all the links on how to install it (1300cc site) but from reading the directions and looking through the fsm something didnt look right (btw, it's a 88 n/a). here it goes:

for power the directions say to use the ign. power source which they mapped it to be the pin 3I and the fsm started that its for the main relay. but the pin 3J is for battery. which one is the best to use?

for the green wire (rpm) the directions states to use the pin 1X which is coil w/igniter (trailing)- IGT-T(ignition timing signal). so i guess the ECU uses the trailing ign. timing to detect the rpms of the engine?

and just to clarify on the air flow signal, cut that wire in 2, connect the yellow wire to the airflow sig. wire to the ecu side and the white wire to the otherside of the wire?
thanks

oh another thing, alot of people connect the throttle wire of the safc to the pressure sensor. i know it's for preference but what's the difference betweem them and what effect does each have?

3I is best because....it's switched power. No power there when the key is off.

1X works. What more can I say.

Yes, you have the yellow and white wire right.

TPS vs PRESSURE SENSOR. The TPS is at 100*throttle when the throttle plates are only about 17* open. The other threads in the safc section explain why they use the pressure sensor instead of the TPS.
