I've wired up the apexi neo to my car but when I come to start the car it just dies, when I connect the original air wire back together the car starts fine so I'm assuming its something with the afc, does anyone know what the settings should be?

if its wired correctly, double check your sensor settings and that it is on Flap. Not Karman. Idk why mine was on Karman when i clicked Flap, and the car barely ran.
