Just wanted to check in and see if you've gotten any experience with a GT42R TiAl turbine housing on a 20B yet. What's the story, sir?

Will this kit work with the Pettit subframe? No clearance issues?

Just wondering if you think something might be available by the end of this year?

At this point in time we do not plan on making an FC 20B kit; we simply have not seen enough demand/inquiries to justify it. We would be more than willing to do a one-off set-up though, but, it would require us to have your vehicle in-house.

We have quite a few projects going on right now and are having a hard enough time keeping up with the incredible demand for our standard 2-rotor FC/FD kits.

Don't worry, you will be the first to be notified if that plan changes

If you were closer it would be no problem for me to give you the car for a one off kit. Shipping would add to the cost and then the extra labor I would have to pay that I wouldn't by installing it myself. I dunno. It's tempting. Can you give a quote/estimate?

OK so yesterday we got one of the 20B cars on the dyno after break in and such. This car was built conservatively as the costumer is not looking for monster power numbers and more or less just wanted more power without boosting the crap out of the car. Port work is minimal basically cleaned up and smoothed with only slight timing changes. This car is running 9-10psi (was hovering between the two), timing is conservative. A/F's are low 11's, again nothing ragged edge here about what was done. Car runs a RB dual cat back as well for a exhuast, Good power at low stress was the main goal. Anyway here is the dyno. (calculon this is just for you since it runs the TiAL )

That's a nice flat torque curve.

Awesome work. Thank you for the post. I notice that it only runs up to 7K. Do you think, based on your experience/prowess if nothing else, that the TiAl housing was gonna start choking up? Like I've said, I'm interested in them, but not confident in their ability to flow the same as the standard T6 housings of similar A/Rs.

Also, could you please shoot me a PM with a price on a non-divided T6 GT42R 1.01 A/R turbine housing? Thanks, and again, great work.

Sorry guys I edited the post I was on the phone in the middle of posting that so now it is a bit more accurate. I will say the Tial will not out flow a T6, I do think it will flow as good as a T4 and in some ways better. As far as how much farther it would flow up top, hard to say, it was starting to drop in torque but HP was still on the way up. We were happy with the 7k rpm redline we limited ourselves to, again we weren't looking for 650whp at higher boost or a high revving engine just nice drive around town with a smile rotary

I have 5/8" from the top of the compressor housing to the stock hood.

Sean-

I've been trying to get a hold of you for a while, I know you guys are busy, but I would like to order the smaller (machined) 1.01 T6 turbine housing from you.
I figured maybe you or an employee will see this here and get back to me.
Please call, pm, email, or send psychic messages to me so I can get this ordered.
Thanks!

Shaun

Dang, that means this kit will not work with the defined autoworks 20B mounting kit.

I know this kit does not fit a 20B FC but why not? Hood clearance? I thought the FC engine bay was larger than the FD's.
