wide body ... i guess

well, i've been working on these for the past month and half with my body man , we made the molds from scratch and so far its looking real good ,they are made out of fiberglass and the nice thing is that you should be able to trim them for less wheel i you were to use a smaller wheel/tire combo , we still have to do the front too.
i'll keep you guys posted

*jaw hits floor* hubahubahubahubahuba.

REALLY looking forward to see how this pans out, would be an epicly awesome substitute for a IMSA kit and a smoother look than the ZG flares.

hey paul , im gonna be running 16x10 with +15 offset, the tire is 275/45/16 , the thing is iam using 8.8 rear and its about 2 inches longer "axle to axle" than the stock gslse.
and you are right its alot of work to build a flare form scratch then you have to make sure they match on both sides , then make the mold and after all this make a flare , brake all the crap that you built on the car to put the flare on . i think the end result will be rewarding , its looking real good

thanks , i did start out with zg flares but they will not fit 100% and you will have gaps so we opted for this, if interested let me know .

nice work! will you be reproducing and selling this when you are done? i would be interested if the price is right. i am contemplating putting the zg flares on my car. but i am not sure if i like the gaps as mentioned above.

i would also like to know if you have a build thread on your car. i would like to see how you got the 8.8 rear end to work and how you got it to fit and what other goodies you have in your car. thanks.

i will be reproducing these if there is enough interest , i have the molds and can show the finishing results , once its finished . lol

as far as the 8.8 i used 90 mustang rear with stock length , stock suspension location, very simple just copy of the original diff , one thing if you are running high hp i suggest you go with thicker plates " like granny's kit" to weld on the diff and not the original ones as you will twist them if you ever find grip , like i did.

these are the actual flares before we mold them to the car , what you saw earlier was the the mold , no its actually what is going on the car . front and back , just making sure they fit right before we put them on for good.
