TX - If I have a license plate...can I trace?

I know in VA if you have the license plate number you go to the DMV with two bucks and you get the registration information...

Can you do the same at the DPS in Texas?

This is all in reference to this **********....

I'm pretty sure you can obtain the info using Texas Department of Transportation (not DPS) form named: VTR-275 Request for Texas Motor Vehicle Information located here: http://www.dot.state.tx.us/forms/vehicle_titles.htm

However, you have to figure out what loophole you want to work to legitimately obtain that information. PS - They will keep your request on record, so if something happens to homeboy or his vehicle there will be a paper trail.

I dont know how, but I think you can. The guy who wanted our abandoned BMW paid a $2.30 fee for a vehicle inquiry. Thats how he was able to get our address... ...and with that info, a fax #.

The idiocy in North Texas amazes me. I recall once getting blocked in like that at school. I had a car parked on my passenger side, a picnic table to my front, a wall on my drivers side... ...and guess who decided to illegally park perpendicular to my car blocking my rear? Whats worse is, it was HS, so I got out at 1pm for work... ...but everyone else leaves at 4:05pm... ...and that if they dont linger.

I somehow managed to find a way to move a large picnic table with my 95lbs body about 10 ft out of the way, and found some psychotic way out by driving on the grass, weaving around a play ground, cemented down bench, basketball goal, as well as other obsticales. I told myself next time I would just call a tow truck and let them worry about it.

In your case, I would suggest the same. I mean I know just how often it is for retarded truck owners to take up more than one parking spot (you clearly had a justified reason as you would block the whole street if you tried to take up just one) But this guy clearly did this on purpose. I mean semis have no choice but to park like that... ...thats why I wont even park fully in the spot next to them, I'll take a farther spot. They need their room, and they need to go.

...on the other hand... ...Ive always been fond of this: http://youtube.com/watch?v=ZGzdLcpuFHI (5 minutes into it)

Course, considering the neighborhood, he probably does give a damn about his truck, he wants you to hit it just so that he can get another one.
