What kinda oil coolers you run? Ever have probs staying on the track for longer sessions? I was going to do this last HPDE event but just have the single stock oil cooler and no oil temp gauge yet so chickened out. Hopefully will be good to go by the next one.

I have the old Crooked Willow dual Mocal setup with the carbon ducts.
I do have an oil temp gauge.
I daily drive the car in San Antonio stop and go on 100 degree days and that is when I see it get hot (but not too hot). If I have good air flow through the coolers and the radiator then the car runs cool enough. By 20 November it shouldn't be a problem even with a single oil cooler.
Hope to see you out there.
I see that Tito was the first to sign up and he is driving a Nissan GTR. Must be nice.

They just repaved it last month. Don't think it was that ridiculous just some uneven areas/humps in one or two of the turns which upset the cars and caused a few spins from what I've heard/seen. I'd think most ppl would be used to driving on those sorta roads in this state(esp SA) haha.

Yes, very good to see other RX-7s and an 8 at the track.
IMHO the track was in good shape. The guys from Dallas and Houston need to come down and give it a try. Next one day event will be Saturday February 19th.
My only problems were a coupler that slipped off an IC pipe and having to empty my oil catch can which filled up after a couple of runs.
Good Times.

Nice meeting you guys too. Steve I'll PM you later this week about the seats, still want to go by the upholstery shop and see what they say. The HPDE was pretty cool but think I'd rather just do a regular track day next time and run at my own pace and on my own schedule. Definitely hitting the next drift event up there, can run a good part of the day for like $60.
