thinking about selling my 1st gen- not a for sale post
thinking about selling my 1st gen- not a for sale post
just kinda putting out a feeler to see if I should sell the thing or just let it sit in the corner at my shop.
anyone interested, let me know. Most of you in DFW know the car but here's the list of what it has, and what it doesn't.
85 gs/ faded gold paint- no sunroof
was a 12a car
now has a 6 port 13b w/ no sleeves
650 holley 4 barrel w/ mechanical secondaries, re jetted and smaller pump nozzles
Racing Beat header to 2.5 inch exhaust- i'm thinking of redoing the front part to eliminate so crappy welds and maybe put a large chambered muffler there to cut the noise some (105.2db at full throttle from 80ft away)
I have the stock 13's as well as some 15x7 BBS mesh style wheels.
GSL diff - shimmed kinda tight- it feels welded until you get in a very tight turn.
The interior is rather clean for the age of the car, I just have to get the usual crap out of it. A few of the plastic parts around the steering column and console are starting to crack from drying out.
This is not a for sale post. This is a post to determine whether or not this car should be sold. It doesn't cost me anything to have it sitting in the corner at the shop, and it occasionally gets drafted into being a second drift car.
So what do ya'll think? Should the FlameThrower get a new home, or just sit there till I can redo some stuff to my liking when finances are conducive?

If it's not costing you anythig, and you're not having issues putting food on teh table, then Id not worry about it... Just keep it and see what comes along.
Hell, park it in the yard if ya like!

Look at what you're left with it if you get rid of it: Miata's. And, as such, all of your machismo is drained and you'll be a girly-man (though I won't argue that this isn't the case now!
).
Keep it!
