FL Thinking about moving to Dallas

I am really considering moving to Texas and never made a big move is there any key things I need to know jobs, traffic, crime, emissions? How is housing and how do jobs pay...what is the big market? Thanks in Advance.

Texas does require cars to pass a dyno emissions test in the large metropolis areas.
If the car is 25+ years old, then no test.

The Dallas / Fort Worth area is HUGE (as well as most of the big 4 Texas cities), in regards to jobs, traffic, crime... yeah, they've got all of that up and down the scale.

More to the point is what lifestyle can you afford to move into.. that would be a starting point. We don't know if you've got brain surgeon skills or if your at home behind a cash register.
