AR Supermoto...streetlegal

hey guys i was looking at maybe getting a supermoto in AR. im wondering if there is anyone on here know anything about working like a crf450r/x thru the DMV making it street legal as it would be cheaper than picking up like a KTM SMR 450/690.

The bike probably has a title that specifies off-road vehicle only. You'd need to check with Arizona DMV to see if you can modify it to be used on the street. It probably needs a lot of stuff. Just get the KTM.

i would call about insurance first, from what i've heard that was more of an issue than the registration. at least here in texas if you can get it inspected (showing insurance, proper ligthting, vin plate) then i *think* you can get it tagged and registered. i would think that if you showed an inspection receipt with vin verification for id purposes, and insurance then the off-road title wouldn't be a problem.

ya i can see that its always that "for off road use only" that gets ya. but we have like endurance/hairscrambles round here that sometimes use public roads and the bikes have to be registred so im not real definate yet but it shouldnt be too hard to push more of a dual sport through like a crf450x as opposed to the r which is off road only.

Oops.

Sorry! Arkansas, not Arizona!
