The autocross novice school is Saturday May 6 at Pennington Field in Bedford. $50 gets you the school and also entered to compete in Sunday's event at Texas Motor Speedway. This school is an absolute bargain for the price; you'll learn a lot.

The school is capped at 60 students and usually fills so be sure to sign up if you wish to come. There are no walkup entries allowed the day of the school. You must register beforehand.

I forgot to mention that the Sunburn Grandprix is this Saturday and Sunday at Texas Motor Speedway. Come out and support your local road racers; this is a big event for those guys. I'm hoping to be able to steal some time away from the autox on Sunday to root for them.

Viewing the autocross in the lot south of the track is free. $10 will get you a ticket for all day Saturday AND Sunday to watch the road race guys.
