I was so wet and miserable I fled for home at the first opportunity rather than heading inside to watch. How was it for you?

Yeah it was on the roval. I was there a few years ago and absolutely hated the track (still do) but if somebody can gurantee me the races will be in the rain I'll gladly come up and run -- what a sweet course in the wet! Several dry lines in a lot of the corners, for the most part a good amount of runoff should you screw up (though looking at our race you wouldn't know it), just generally a good rain track.

My race started off great, I made it up to 4th in class (from 9th in class starting) then decided I would try braking later AND getting on the gas sooner in one corner than I ever have before -- I probably could've done one or the other and gotten within striking distance of 3rd in class, but both resulted in an off course and getting shuffled back to 9th. Raced my way up to 8th, then skidded off and into a tire wall, so back to 9th. Somebody dropped out (I think) so I finished 8th in class 17th overall. Same OA as starting but 1 up in class.

PS - cage looks good, Paul. Bring that sucker down when its trilink time!
