This saturday...be there! Meeting at Rolling Oaks mall at 7:45, departing by 8:10 and arrive at meet before 8:25. Need more spinning triangles!

 

I'm gonna be up in Converse working on my Car, still not running But if I'm awake and able-bodied enough to drive I'll be out there.

 

I want to take my fc, but i dont think it would fit in well with the crowd

 

Bring it man. We should have a nice little cruise to the meet as well with a couple STIs, GTR, and some 8's.

That's the beauty of this meet, it's got a bit of everything from old school MGs, Ferrari's, all stages of resto/build, hell even when I took my first gen out there (And anyone who's seen it knows its pretty rough) I still had people come up and ask me about it and tell me about their encounters with one (Friend owned one in high school or they owned one in high school was the most common). It's a good wholesome event where everyone is just out to meet up and have a good time. As long as you don't drive like you want attention, you'll fit right in. Plus, more RX-7s is always a good thing!

For me at least it's the pride of actually seeing the cars being driven and knowing that they are out there alive and kickin more so than being 'show ready' like some. I know as well as most if not more there are a ton of things on my car that need to be fixed but at least for my car, it's apart of it's character mostly because it all blends in with the rust and beat-up-ness.

I dunno, I can't exactly give a whole valiant speech about getting your car out there because I'm 8 months into hibernation with mine and it's looking like it's gonna be a while before she's road ready again but I'd still love to be able to go out to CnC and talk to some other 7 owners and see what everyone else has goin on.
