Weekends are poor for me, but if more people would like that then thats what should happen, I just (probably) won't be there.

So north side(1604&gold canyon, Bennigans), central (Bennigans 410&san pedro OR in the Quarry somewhere) or NW side (de zavala), other ideas/locations??

Need some postive input about where soon, Friday is fast approaching.

 

Fred,93FD3S- I misunderstood 93FD3S, I thought he was mentioning SPEED ELEMENTS as a proposed site for the actual meet, not the NE rally point. I'd rather have NE guys meet up a Biffs, (just as a starting point to roll out to the actual meet) because it's closer to Converse (and 35 & 1604).

If I had to pick one right now I'd say I like the sound of Bennigan's 1604&Gold Canyon. Although, Fox and Hound sounds interesting too. Which one has the better total entertainment value, food/drink factor?

I definitely vote for Friday night too.

I really didn't mind Bennigans that much, it's a good spot. Only other place I can think of would be a place called ******* Ice House on 281(between Bitters and Thousand Oaks). They had some decent food last time I went there. Of course they have beer as well. They are only open until 11pm on Fridays though I think.

Fox & Hounds is quite a hike for us far NE-siders. I kinda like the Quarry idea... what would be a good place to meet there?

well looks like I may not make it my clutch is constantly losing pressure so I gotta see if i can get it fixed tomorrow before the meet. If I can then I'll be there if not then, I won't make it. I'll keep you guys updated. friggin sucks, it happened outta nowhere.

One thing I don't want to happen is that we have a splintered group, with one meeting somewhere and another group meeting somewhere else(like some people at Bennigans and some at Cha Chos). Yeah, I've never heard of this place. Although I am somewhat new to the area. What about that mall area that is on 281 right to the north side of 1604. It's the where there is that place called Stoneworks I think.

 

Its the newest ChaChos. Its on Perrin Beital, 1 block outside loop 410. Its across from Taco Cabana. You Can't miss it, its a two story purple building. Its right after the Weiner Schnitzal. I went to the web site and they don't even have that location listed yet. They have only been open for a couple of weeks. I call you.

 

I figure Chachos would be good because a majority live around this area.

Ok if you are coming from the Airport exit Perrin Beital take left under bridge out side the loop. ChaChos is about 1 block outside the loop on the right hand side. If you are coming from I35 exit Perrin Beital take a right and it'll be on your right side. There is a large parking lot in the rear.

Jeff, I'm not sure which place your talking about but it sounds like The Quarry. Its located at 281 and Basse road, its got a lot of stuff there.

St3alth, you must of handled that cop well . Given your age you should feel pretty good, no telling what I would of told gotten into with him when he started talking out his *** making things up.

 

Hey fellas, I recently moved back to san antonio, and currently drive a 94 bmw 325is. Im trying to sell it or trade for another fc, Im wondering if you know of anywhere or anyone looking to sell one for cheap. or trade for a 4-5k coupe. (that needs about 700 in parts to be finished.) The only one ive found locally that was decent was a stock tII with a blown seal and the guy wanted a firm 4K for it. I usually go to euro meets on the third friday of the month (which is tomorrow) but to be honest its mostly guys with mercedes who pay $500 for the dealer to change their spark plugs, (seriously and i think thats enough said.) so hopefully ill make it out tomorrow, and meet a few of you, and maybe someones looking to sell or know where I might be able to take a look. alright guys ill check on here again to make sure noones posting to slit the tires on any bmws in the lot tomorrow night.
