But do see what they have price wise, maybe they would cut a deal. I would need new tires before being able to hit the track which is not going to be cheap.

yes, do invite as many as you can. I'm in the process of gaining interest at this point. If I know we get enough people, I will talk to them to get an exact date.

*$95 is dirt cheap for a track day, don't see how it could get any cheaper, since more people would have to sign up and that would kill the fun with a crowded track.

I'm not sure if you're talking about the ECR track days they have once a month or if you're referring to trying to get a special deal just for us. But their track days they have once a month for anyone are $150 for a day. I was out there last weekend for this months track day, not a lot of people were there (only 6 in my run group) so that was nice at least, no trains or anything. $95 is a steal, I don't think I've ever seen an event that cheap, definitely count me in.

$95 is for the MSR. I didn't know how much it was for EC... so it's $150 for EC and $95 for MSR. that sounds about right....

Hey, pluto, I was just looking at your sig and you say you are on E85 and live in Fort worth.
Could you please share where you manage to find E85 in DFW, i only know of 1 station in all of DFW and it is a good 30+ min drive from me. I really want to swap to E85 but just can't find it.

I think, that the dirty gas is a myth or is over rated.
I have put expensive and cheap gas from every brand you can think of in 10 years on my car.
I recently did some work inside the gas tank and the gas tank was spic and span.
No dirt, no oil, no water, no rust, no nothing!!!!
Gas stations have a few inline filters to take care of this, reason I do believe this dirt in the gas is over rated.

E85 is differnt though, and since people test it we actually look at it more then gas and i have seen dirty E85. With stations like the ones around here that get virtually no E85 buissness it can sit for a long time, dirty may not be the case but diluted or E70 it can. Stations like these like to get E70 or "winter blend" E85 since it is cheaper and last longer from what i am told.
Not the end of the world either way, just a good idea ot check the E85 at the pump from time to time to make sure it is consistant and what you think it is. Going from E85 o E70 is like losing almost 5 oct points which needless to say is not good on a tuned motor.

I have not done any testing on the quality but even if it's E70 (approx 100 octane). I think it is more than plenty for our application if we stay below 25psi. (note: 100octane on Ethanol is almost like 110octane in race fuel).
With normal gas i agree with you, it is true but overrated. Usually it is the midgrade that has a problem since it is the least used.

Bob, last I heard is, that you converted the RX7 into a perpetual art installation piece in your garage.
Rumor has it, that you gold plated the jack stands and chromed the inside of the exhaust.
Also, that since you climb the Kilimanjaro, you decorated the interior of the RX7 with Chagga motifs and speak only in Swahili to your patients.
