RX-Club of Houston November meeting - November 10th 2007

Greetings everyone,

Where is the November meeting going to be held? Who knows.

I'm going to leave this thread open until next Friday (10.12.07) for suggestions for the location and or activity for the next club meeting to be held on Saturday, November 10th. The top two suggestions will be put up for a vote.

If you recommend something be prepared to organize it as well, I may be out of town for the next meeting.

So let's hear those ideas!

Double Dave's Pizza in Pearland for lunch, then a drive to galveston or elsewhere. They have a big parking lot that's never overrun and a buffet for lunch.

HEY! They don't have burritos there!

There is a Freebirds off Bay Area Blvd though. (Which is conveniently just off I-45 for a run to Galveston).

That Freebirds location in Clear Lake has a miniature parking lot if I remember correctly, might suck if we get a decent showing.

I'm out on paintball but would be in for carting, especially if it cools off to the 60's or 70's.

yes, the freebirds on Bay Area Blvd does have a sub-standard parking lot, I can do some recon tomarrow and post pics if ya'll want.

+1 for the cruise to Galvestion idea, I'll bring my own tow rope.
I also like double Daves Pizza and a buffet, but the freebirds on sheperds plaza is more central... so we may have a higher turn out for people who aren't down for a cruise.
I woulden't go for the paintball idea, I have a convertible, it just woulden't be fair.
If you guys do decide to do the paintball think on the way to Galveston let me know and I'll bring a motorcycle helment with full face sheild.

I was truthfully leaning more towards the Shepherd Freebirds as well - I think more central is better as well. Besides, its just a place to meet up before the haul to Galveston. Of course, will need a burrito first. mmmmmmm burritos.

Paintball? That **** would be okay...except that those of us without a gun would basically have to rent some (which hella suck ***). *I* am not going to volunter to be your target practice.

No need for a Datalogit or WB, they are fitted in the car all ready, I am tuning it slowly, Just installed a new wastegate spring, should be good for about 14psi

There is a kart place in dickinson. with a good size lot. Maybe the southside people can meet somewhere local to eat and everyone meet up at the kart place, then to Galveston?
