Does anyone in Texas know of an RX meet at Advanced Auto in Killeen? From what I've heard, its every Thursday night at 8:30 and the turnout is pretty damn sweet. Anyone know of it? If so, please confirm this because I live about 40 miles away and barely know the area so I don't wanna waste gas. Thanks!

Tyler is 40 miles from Palestine, Palestine is 100 miles from Waco and Waco is only 45 minutes from Killeen...its probably a good 3 or 3 1/2 hour drive...Tyler to Killeen. Not worth it for a few hours at a meet. Not much in Killeen except a few strip clubs and a bunch of pawn shops and used car dealerships. Oh the joy of a military town....Spent 2 1/2 years Stationed at Ft. Hood....Killeen got very old, very fast. I'm pretty sure we could get something together for us here in East Texas...if i do keep my 7 i'll definatly make it to some shows...its too pretty not too!! Plus weather here in the summer just begs for a car show or mini meet....

 

Are these meets still goin on? Someone told me they meet on saturdays.

 

I would like to know also, Im up in waco going to college. but i have only seen two other Fd's so a good meet in the area would be nice.

Hey, sorry to dig up an old thread, but is there any info? I found out nothing thus far.

 

There were never any rotary meets when I was at Fort Hood (2000 to 2003). I used to go to the Runnin' Stangs meetings and beat them all into submission......they had to respect the FD after I beat every one of them

 

I just moved to Burleson Tx. from Ca. and was wondering how far Killeen was from where I am. If its not to far away ill check it out.....
