RoadRally school April 4

If you have been staying away from our rallies because you have never done one before, have we got a deal for you!

Our Rally School is on Saturday, April 4th, with registration and lunch from 11am to 1pm, with the school beginning at 1pm. There will be a short drive during the school to illustrate course-following skills that you have learned. We should be done by 4pm.

The school will be held at No Frills Grill & Sports Bar in SW Arlington (4914 Little Rd., Arlington 76017, 817-478-1766). The cost is $10 per car (two people).

Other big news: we have changed our Online Registration service to MotorsportReg.com, for better service and a cheaper price. The big difference to you: they accept credit cards instead of PayPal. You can still use PayPal, but you will have to do it from the PayPal website. Of course, you can still pay by cash or check at Registration.

Please log on to:
http://www.motorsportreg.com/index.c...E0134186A76B19
Like all such sites, you will first have to create an account; you will only have to do this once. Then you can register for the Rally School.

Bulletin: on May 2, you are invited to rally from Plano to Texas Motor Speedway for the annual Rally to the Race! At the track, all rallyists get about 20 minutes of track time before heading out into Wise County for more rallying to Eagles Canyon Raceway, and back to TMS. In a week or so, go back to MotorsportReg.com and search for "Fun Run/Rallye", and you will be able to register for the Rally to the Race. There is a 60-car limit for the rally, and there may be a lower limit for the number allowed on the track.

We look forward to seeing you at the school.

Bumpity bump bump.

Just a reminder that this is this Saturday and since it's a school you don't really need a co-driver.
You don't have to have a codriver for the school at all. You will need someone in the car with you for the drive-around afterwards, to read the instructions and commentary, but if you show up alone, we will either find someone to ride with you, or find you a seat in another car. If the codriver you were going to bring is interested in rally, by all means bring them along
So if you've been thinking about tryin' one of these rallies out, this would be a good one to get your feet wet with. See ya there.
