It looks like I'm not going to make it. I don't know about this weather or the gas prices. Plus, My altenator on my FD went out on me a few weeks ago and I haven't gotted it back yet. I would have to drive one of my other cars if I come.

Sadly, I will be unable to attend as well. Aside from all the speculation about fuel availability and cost, travel conditions due to the extra volume from the evacuation, and the storm.

The actual reason(s) I will not be able to make this event are, 1, my sister had to have her appedix removed this afternoon, and, 2, the relative we were planning to stay with, has a brand new cast on their foot/leg, less than 12 hours old.

Now, what do I need to do in order to get the t-shirts we ordered?
Damn, I was looking forward to this get together, I even wrote it on the calender as soon as the date was set. Was already packed and loaded up, when the medical calls came in.....

I regret to inform, that our plan to caravan to Dallas, will not continue as planned.

We are currently staying at a BEST WESTERN near San Antonio.

We also look forward to the next BBQ.

It was great driving down GreenOaks or whatever forever and not ever finding the place. There looked like there were 04397653480735 parks in that area, I didnt see one w/ a Rx7 there other than this recreational place that had a red fc.

GAYGYSAYGGYFGGFKUHFU:H!@!#@

ps. I was caught maybe 100yds away from that 18wheeler explosion on I-20 west. Had the whole highway shutdown, sitting there w/ no ac.
Im in the pissiest mood ever, between 2457578436 cars doing 40 on the highway that have LA plates & uhauls.

In the migration off of the 450Mhz box to the dual 800MHz box Gallery somehow got munged. All the files are there, the database is there, etc. but no images. I just nuked it and reinstalled it after wasting too much time at work playing with it.

Just a couple of shots for the anxious....I haven't seen so many RX-8's together at one time since visiting a new car dealership to see the car in person when it first came out...

My first gen didn't make it but I did. It was awesome. Nobody should have stayed home jsut for wether. Traffic, gas, and relatives I can get, but teh waether was great. Didn't rain one bit. My car will make it next time.

EDIT: It was a pleasure meeting ALWAZL8 and hangin out. Damn nice cars those 8s are. Huge thanks to all those involved in making this event happen. Hope to see you all at the Tulsa Spring BBQ.

It was a fun event and I had a great time. Too bad they didn't have an award for dirtiest car as I would have won. Guess I'll just have to play with my spinning rotor keychain.

Dammit, I was almost ready to just go ahead and make the trip early saturday, in spite of my sis being in the hospital. Looks like I shoulda just done it. The 1 gen section needed more cars.
Well, I hope to see everyone at the Tulsa BBQ next spring.
I really wanted to attend, but the cards fell against me at the last minute.

Real family is more important than rotary family. You did the right thing imo. There'll be plenty of first gens at the nest Tulsa BBQ.

ta45cr
72 a/r cold
street port nothing specail or secretive
actually made 446 at 14 psi and slipping clutch
actually looking for ideas for a good clutch that will take 450 rwftlbs of torque, i dont think i'll be there but i'll be close to 400 so this way it will be safe.

You must have some secret tuning, because I have a street port with a TO4E from HKS and all the go fast goodies to go along and I'm puting down 360rwhp and 305 rwtq at 15 pounds (Dyno sheets have been seen by Gilbert, Juan, Bob,Jason,Tim and a whole bunch of other people here).
My last tuning was by Chris at RP with 80% injection duty cycles and conservative A/F ratios.
I'm not a tuner or a builder, but that sounds like alot to me for 10 pounds of boost only.
Hey more power to you man, I can't imagine what you can do with a T78 or T88.
