Plano, Texas area alignment.
I've got an FD that is about to be back on the road with all new bushings, coilovers, and a new steering rack and needs a full alignment.
If anyone knows of a shop that won't give me crap about aligning a modded car to my own specs please let me know.
I'd like to be able to sit in the car to get the correct weight if possible.
Thanks,

Unless you are a formula 1 car driver, you are not going to notice a difference just to drive at street speeds.
I you are tracking your car and are that good at telling the difference, then more power to you.
Check with these 2 race shops AutoScope in Plano or 5th Gear in Lewisville.
They shouldn't give you any ****, but can't promise they will laugh.
Don't forget to corner balance the car too.

I've thought about corner balancing but I don't have scales. I know of a shop called Texas Track Works that can do both but they are a rather long drive away. Driving with severe misalignment for 50 minutes doesn't seem like a good idea for my brand new tires.
Is corner balancing really that important? The car will be tracked but I'm not sure corner balancing would be noticeable. I'm not an expert driver and was just planning on setting all 4 corners to the same ride height with the driver in it.

I am no expert either, but Corner Balancing would be more important, than aligning your car with you in it.
Adjusting the ride height on all 4 corners is a good start, but it is no fun, unless you have a lift and still is a B.
Did it once before with a friend and lots of up, adjust, down, up again, adjust, down, repeat multiple times.
I have tracked my car consistently the past 7 years at MSR and I don't even have an adjustable suspension or slick tires, just RSR springs and Bilstein shocks.
I run in the Advanced Group (with all organizations) and can hold my own.
IMHO, save your money, put to it into a few High Performance Driving Schools.
When you get good at it, then start modifying suspension, if need be once you learn what your car can do and adjust it to your driving skills and needs.
Autoscope is close to you, Nerces is the owner and he races at MSR with BMWCCA.
