So, I have owned my little FB for almost 5 months now. I originally bought it down in Austin where my parents live and brought it back up to OKC (Edmond more specifically) to use as my DD.

Of course, with the car being as old as it is, I don't really expect to see too many around, but since owning one I have yet to see any FB's, and have only seen one FC and one FD. Even RX-8's are rare here.

So I ask, does anyone else in the OKC area own a rotary?

 

I take my FC to work most days. There is a shop off of Meridian just north of the Airport that has an FB parked in front most days. I dont know who owns her, but she looks nice. In the last ~year, I think I have seen five different FC's (running,) one FD, and two FB's.

 

Huh. Maybe I just live in the wrong part of the metro. Edmond has terrible taste in cars.

I don't suppose there are any official/semi-official meetings that ever happen around here are there?

I daily drive a red 88 vert here in okc.

 

Well, my wife says I have terrible taste in cars. We just moved away from Edmond to Peoria IL.
I had five RX's while I lived there.
SA, FB, FC, FC, FD

Too bad I missed you. BTW, there a lot of RX's in OKC. Including an engine builder and a VERY good mechanic with his own shop in Midwest City I believe.

 

I drive the other red vert but live in midwest city. There is a guy that drives a red FD/white FC on base, and another guy with a black Fc on base too. Apex Auto parts is in town and he drives a blue vert. Every once in awhile I see a yellow FB with black stripes running around but havent seen it lately. and of course a lot of 8's everywhere. Thats about the extent of 7s around the city that I have seen.

Glad to make your acquaintance. I drive the other saph blue FC vert, actually named it 2ndgen pronounced "two-inda-gin". Love my car!!! Started making funny noise so I put in storage for a while. Jayself would you please drop a line and let me know who & where the mechanic is in MWC.
I haven't seen another 2nd generation in two or three years and you say there's a club here in OKC? Wow.
The world needs more of us, so I'd like to get back on the road again and maybe join the club.
